Welcome to the new and improved launchpad
The launchpad area at the bottom of the lock screen has been significantly enhanced to take location-awareness into account when displaying your favorite apps.
In addition to the "manual" launchpad option, the new "auto" launchpad keeps track of your most recently used apps, and where you've used them. Your favorite apps are always a convenient tap away.
We've also made bug fixes, and made the lock screen faster for everyday use.
